Severed Heads + Kübler Ross

Severed Heads return to Glasgow for their second-ever Scottish live appearance.

The pioneering electronic group will play the first date of their UK tour at the Flying Duck on the 22nd of May.

Formed in Sydney, Australia in 1979, Severed Heads have been responsible for groundbreaking work in electronic music and video work, as well as huge dance hits like 1984’s ‘Dead Eyes Open’ and 1988’s 'The Greater Reward'.

As influential to some in the development of EBM and Techno as the likes of Kraftwerk and Throbbing Gristle, Severed Heads have seen a huge resurgence in popularity in recent years thanks to crucial re-issues on labels like Dark Entries, Medical Records and Optimo Trax.

The chance to see them perform live in a space as intimate as the Flying Duck’s 120 capacity venue space is one that won’t come round again quickly so make sure you don’t miss out on a ticket.

Support will come in the form of Kubler-Ross who’s raucous brand of live drum mutant modular EBM will set the tone perfectly.

Tickets available from Resident Advisor
