Surge return to The Flying Duck for another night of non-stop, uncompromising techno. For our latest event we invited two talented local selectors to provide the heaters alongside the Surge residents.
First up we have Inverness based DONALD. He has been DJing for nearly 2 years now and within that time has featured on a number of mix series and started a monthly residency with It’sNotRadio. Recently he made his club debut at the Mash House in Edinburgh for It’sNotRadio’s first birthday. His mixes showcase his passion for driving and faster paced techno made up from a wide variety of sounds. DONALD’s definitely one to watch as the year progresses!
Also joining us we have Glasgow based ESFI. Having started mixing during lockdown ESFI has gone on to feature on numerous mix series’s including TNNLSYSTM, Toxic Warm Up Society, Close Contact and Schematic. ESFI made her club debut at The Berkeley Suite for Polka Dot Disco Club and has since played numerous different venues. She has also hosting her own online charity event with an all female lineup and raised over £400 for a sexual assault survivor charity. Her hard techno sets are heavy hitting and not for the faint hearted. She will also venture through other genres such as electro and breaks. ESFI is definitely one to keep an eye on within the scene.
