Insula return to Glasgow on the 24th February. They’ll be playing Naryana’s Cows by Tom Johnson and Access Denied by Sonia Killmann. 

For this concert, they will be joined by Finn McLean  and Aidan Lochrin, both of whom will play a solo sets of their own music.  

Insula was formed in Glasgow in 2021 to perform music by composers who want to write experimental music for live, amplified ensemble. They play music composed for people who want to come and hear experimental works which are not considered to be in the classical sphere. This is experimental music that lies in the grey area between various genres. Insula looks to perform in venues that provide a more relaxed environment than the traditional concert hall. They perform a mix of contemporary classical, ambient and electronic music.
