A. Wesley Chung (ex The Great Albatross & Boris Smile)
Wesley is a California-born, Glasgow-based DIY musician with his roots firmly in the emo scene. His latest record 'Portents' takes a myriad of influences, such as Americana and country, and ties them to his youth, spent in basement venues yelling along to his friends' bands. The songs are perfectly formed, with beautiful instrumentation and arrangements, tinged with intensity and emotion that makes the record a love letter to the DIY scene that has always offered a warm welcome. Struggletown and Wesley have a long-standing friendship, which makes this rare live performance all the sweeter, rumour has it that this will be the only chance to catch him live in 2023 with a full backing band of Glasgow's finest.
