Fat Dads / The Rampants / Cruise Balloon

Fat Dads have been making waves with their infectious tunes and unwavering DIY ethos. Their first four demos skyrocketed to acclaim, grabbing the attention of Radio 1 and Radio X through word of mouth alone.

Recognized as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands by Indie music tastemakers ‘This Feeling’, the physical copies of their debut EP sold out within 48 hours, reaching fans across Europe and America.

2023 started with a bang, as the first weekend in January saw the hashtag #FatDadsAFHF2023 started to trend on Twitter due to thousands of people wanting to see Fat Dads play at Louis Tomlinson’s ‘Away From Home Festival’ in 2023.

Their fifth release ‘Girlfriend’ smashed into iTunes top 20 on its release day.

Their first official Merchandise range (in collaboration with www.localbandtees.co) broke numerous site records on release day, with orders being shipped to England, Scotland, Germany, Holland, France, USA (East & West Coast), and Canada.

Fat Dads made their first festival appearance at Kendal Calling 2023 and played to a packed and overflowing tent (the largest crowd that the BBC Introducing tent had seen all weekend) of passionate fans, all singing the words back to them - a remarkable feat achieved entirely without industry contacts, PR, or management.

The back end of 2023 saw Fat Dads perform live on Radio X, and support Andrew Cushin. Their latest single Jenny was produced by Alex Quinn (The Royston Club, Overpass, Bandit)
