Dame Area:

Dame Area's music is a blend of tribal, industrial, percussive, pychedelic, kraut-inspired electonics. As part of the Màgia Roja collective, label and venue in Barcelona, the duo are behind some of the most forward-thinking and out-there parties and releases to be happening and coming out of the city. Their incessant touring schedule has seen them play all over Europe in the past couple of years and we're super excited to be hosting them for their Glasgow debut. Their music has seen heavy play in the sets of some of the bravest DJs out there including Vladimir ivkovic, Lena Willikens and identified patient. For this performance they will be accompanied by Jesse Webb of Gnod on drums and presenting their recent 12" that was released on the Swedish label Kess Kill.

Nova Scotia:

Nova Scotia is a sample-based production and performance project, a way to seek emotional and audible truth through music and live sets, a way to manipulate samples to create an experience. A marriage of grime, electronic and acapella. The debut EP, AL-HAQQ, was released in April 2018.

DJ Amy presides over the excellent Rest Assured Radio Show on Subcity and is part of the crew behind the It's Too Hot To Sleep parties at the Art School. Her blend of leftfield propulsive club music has seen her become regular fixture in venues across the city.
